The Community Zero Emissions Grants Program provides funding to eligible community groups and sponsored individuals to lead initiatives which support the ACT’s transition to net zero emissions by 2045 at the latest. The grants are delivered through annual targeted rounds with $550,000 of funding available over four years.
The Community Zero Emissions Grants Program is designed to fund projects, initiatives and programs that will:
- develop and implement innovative solutions and generate new knowledge and information to support a community transition to net zero emissions by 2045;
- assist the community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the ACT; and
- drive greater community awareness and engagement in transition to net zero emissions.
Eligible applicants can apply for an upper limit of $25,000 (excluding GST). Groups of eligible applicants may consider submitting a joint application and in these circumstances grant applicants may apply for up to $50,000 (excluding GST).
