The ACT Arts Fund
Arts Activities funding is available to ACT-based artists at all stages of their careers and to organisations providing the Canberra community with opportunities to engage in the arts.
Arts Activities funding supports artists, groups and arts organisations to undertake a range of activities including artform-based projects, mentorships, residencies, professional or skills development, and opportunities for the community to actively engage in the arts. Activities can relate to artforms including dance, literature, music, theatre, visual arts and arts based festivals.
From 1 June 2018, two categories will be available:
- Up to $5k – for smaller projects, with applications open all year round
- $5-50k - for larger projects, with two rounds open each year. Round one closes 31 July 2018 for activities starting after 1 December 2018.
Community Outreach Arts Funding is available, through a one-off grant round, to incorporated organisations or individual artists and groups auspiced by a not-for-profit organisation. The Community Outreach Arts Funding round aims to increase participation in the arts, promote collaboration between organisations, artists and the community, and establish relationships and/or programs that contribute to long term arts engagement outcomes. The funding will have an emphasis on engaging sectors of the community that otherwise may experience barriers or disadvantage that inhibit their participation in the arts.
The Community Outreach Arts funding round will open for applications on 1 June 2018 and close on 31 July 2018, for activities taking place in 2019.
