Arts Residencies ACT Fund

Community Services Directorate

With a focus on promoting partnerships and delivering arts outcomes for the ACT community, Arts Residencies ACT funding will support artist residencies that are located in the ACT or immediate surrounds; open and advertised publicly; and that include community engagement outcomes as part of the residency.

ACT Environment Grants

Environment and Sustainable Development Directorate

The 2011-2012 ACT Environment Grants External Web site are now open with total funding of more than $250,000. The closing date for applications is Friday, 13 May 2011.

The ACT Environment Grants has been funded annually since 1997 and is currently administered by the Environment and Sustainable Development Directorate. The Program is focused on supporting the community to undertake environmental activities that complement delivery of the Government's environmental priorities, as articulated in the The Canberra Plan: Towards our Second Century and in 2011 particularly in relation to the International Year of Forests found at http://www.internationalyearofforests.com.au/ External Web site and activities that assist the Territory in celebrating Canberra’s centenary in 2013.

Climate Change Grants

Community Centenary Initiatives Fund

Chief Minister and Cabinet Directorate

Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, elements of existing festivals and events which particularly relate to the Centenary of Canberra; regional, national or international extensions of events; and projects with community benefit, engagement and legacy.

The Community Centenary Initiatives Fund will open on 1 July 2011 and close on 30 June 2012 or when all available monies have been committed, whichever comes first.

Tune Up Canberra Grant Program

Tune Up Canberra Grant: Tune Up Canberra is a $2 million dollar-for-dollar ACT Government grants program that offers financial incentrives to encourage owners of comercial office buildings to make their buildings more energy and water efficient.

Owners of Class 5 commercial properties with moe than 1500m2 in gross floor area can apply for funding.
